marriage should not be based upon the government. It should be two people who choose to get married. we all have free will.

 @9H7RXRG from Oklahoma  answered…2yrs2Y

This should be decided at the state level, but for all intents and purpsoes man is between a man and a woman

I don't support marriage as a legal term. Call all marriages civil unions and everyone will be happy.

 @96DM3C2 from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

I mean, sure, everyone is allowed to love who they love and everyone is allowed to have opinions on it, just not ones that can cause others physical harm I guess.

 @96DFRM8Republican from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

I can support what others want and that it is all up to them and that others have their own opinions about it too.

 @95QP6KX from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

I don't support nor do not support. Just do your own thing and leave me out of it.

To answer the question, it does not matter to me if someone wnats to marry the same sex as them it's their choice, only the people getting married have a say.

People deserve to be happy and spend their lives with the person they love, no one should have power over who you can love and be with, I allow same-sex marriage and it's just like men and women getting married just the same sex nothing changed but people should do what makes their love life happy.

The government does not have a right to prohibit individuals from marrying, nor do they have a right to deny a marriage license.

 @92KXVCP from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

I don't really hold a stance on this, I find that people will love who they love!

 @927MBV8 from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

 @Kamaraw2Independent from Oklahoma  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, everyone has the right to be married no matter their sexual orientation is.

 @8PQSRMLRepublican from Oklahoma  answered…5yrs5Y

I do not support it, but it is up to the state for legalization. I respect everyone regardless of sexuality and see everyone as equal. I just simply do not support it myself. I love everyone equally though.

The government/state should ONLY recognize civil unions. No tax benefits or preferential treatment should be given to anyone based on marital status.

Yes, and further, marriage as a legal status should be open to any two consenting adults, sex or gender or race or religion should not affect the availability of marriage to a couple.

 @9BK8FR5 from Oklahoma  answered…2yrs2Y

Everyone deserves the right to marry the people that they love, so same sex marriage should absolutely be legal.
