Pro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, and danger of mother or child. Also, provide birth control, sex education, and more social services to reduce the number of abortions

 @9TBJYD3Independent from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

I do not agree with abortions, although I do however believe that if you are not pregnant by choice you should have the right to get an abortion if wanted.

 @9HXGJW6 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Abortion shouldn't be an option unless raped or etc, but even then if you don't want the child put it up for adoption, because that child has a life regardless.

 @9BYJXL3 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Pro-choice. Recently, rather than attempting to resolve worldwide issues and even major issues in our own country, the US Government has cracked down on small things that their personal agendas and beliefs, not the interests of each and every individual, see as issues that must be resolved. It should never be within the government's power to control childbirth in the United States, and the audacity they show by doing so is outrageous.

  @lemans3427 from California  agreed…2yrs2Y

Recently, rather than attempting to resolve worldwide issues and even major issues in our own country, the US Government has cracked down on small things that their personal agendas and beliefs, not the interests of each and every individual, see as issues that must be resolved.

It is not uncommon for governments to impose their own beliefs and values on their citizens through laws and policies. This can often lead to individual rights being suppressed, as the government's interests may not always align with those of each and every individual. For example, some argue that the recent abortion laws passed in several US states are not in the best interest of women's health and freedom to make choices about their own bodies.

What are your thoughts on the government's role in regulating personal choices such as abortion?

 @9796DPR from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Pro-life, unless danger to the mother or the child.

 @73KY323Green from Georgia  disagreed…3yrs3Y

Pro-choice, and providing birth control, sex education, and more social services will help reduce the number of abortions

I agree that both parents should have a say, but shouldn’t the person who actually has to carry the child inside of them and birth it have the *final* say?

Imagine if you had a child who needed a new kidney to survive, and you have a match but the child’s mother does not. You and the mother could discuss the option of you giving up your kidney to save the child’s life. But regardless of whether or not you would do it, who should have the final say in determining whether or not YOUR kidney will be removed from YOUR body and given to the child? Probably you, right?

 @73KY323Green from Georgia  corrected…3yrs3Y

Pro-choice, and providing birth control, sex education, and more social services will help reduce the number of abortions

Sorry, my reply above was meant for a different comment.

 @9796D2F from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Pro-life 100% because it is murder otherwise.

 @73KY323Green from Georgia  disagreed…3yrs3Y

I don't agree that abortion is murder, but even if we think about abortion as taking a human life, isn't taking a human life sometimes justifiable? For example, in the case of self-defense.

My point of view is that yes, you are killing a living organism. But bodily autonomy outweighs the right to life. If you don't agree with that statement, ask yourself: if your neighbor needed a kidney to live, should the government be able to force you to donate yours to save his life? Personally, I would say no, because even though your neighbor's life is at stake, it's still YOUR body and therefore YOUR decision to make, not the government's!

I mean, why should the government be allowed to mandate birth?

Pro choice but higher costs and more difficult process for those doing it for convenience as opposed to rape/danger to mother/poor quality of life

 @B6ZYPY6 from Arkansas  answered…1wk1W

Pro-life. A zygote is not the mother's body nor her DNA. It is alive. You cannot kill it because it reminds you of something painful and that living being didn't do anything deserving of death. If you don't want to raise the kid, you can always do adoption. I think the only instance where abortion should be allowed is when the baby is in the Fallopian tube or if the mother is going to die otherwise.

 @B6ZGPWR from Arkansas  answered…1wk1W

Abortion should be optional, you should be able to choose if you want to keep the baby, before it is even developed, and if it is an unexpected, meaning that it happened from rape or on accident, etc

 @B6QYQYZ from Arkansas  answered…3wks3W

Abortion is often viewed negatively because it involves ending a potential human life, which many believe has inherent value from the moment of conception. People who oppose abortion argue that every unborn child has the right to live and that terminating a pregnancy disregards this fundamental right. Additionally, some believe that abortion can have emotional and psychological consequences for the mother. From a moral and ethical standpoint, they see abortion as the taking of an innocent life, which conflicts with many cultural, religious, and personal values. For these reasons, many consider abortion to be harmful both to the unborn child and to society as a whole.

 @B6LSD3F from Arkansas  answered…1mo1MO

Pro-life, but allow in cases of rape, in order to get the abortion though the individual needs to go through a trail/court case to see if it is really necessary.

 @B548VK2Peace and Freedom from Arkansas  answered…5mos5MO

I think abortion should be banned even if the baby is less than three months old. It's such an inhuman thing to do to a baby.

 @B52Z9Q3 from Arkansas  answered…5mos5MO

Pro-Life, women should have the child regardless, however what they decide to do with the child afterwards is their decision and the government should take responsibility of taking care of it. Especially if their going to ban abortions.

 @B4M6RBH from Arkansas  answered…5mos5MO

if the persons life is in risk then they should be allowed to abort or if the person is a teenager or if the person has been raped should be allowed to abort

 @B3Z6BNC from Arkansas  answered…6mos6MO

I believe in the right to people being able to get an abortion however, This should not be a form of birth control and education should not allow it to be seen that way, there needs to be better education about birth control and safe sexual conduct.

 @B3Z44J8 from Arkansas  answered…6mos6MO

Pro-choice, but ban after the first three months (more education and means to provide more accessibility to birth control, etc.)

 @B32N537 from Arkansas  answered…7mos7MO

I think it should not be a thing but I think it's aceptable only if the woman got raped or it was insest or if there was something wrong with the woman or baby.

 @B2J2XNR from Arkansas  answered…8mos8MO

I'm pro-life in certain scenarios. Women who are raped or who have a health issue with childbirth should be allowed. If someone is just having sex, there are consequences for choices. If you don't want a kid, don't have sex. If you choose to have sex, you know what the outcome might be.

 @B2H8N96Libertarian from Arkansas  answered…8mos8MO

Pro-life, the life of the mother must be saved in the case of medical emergency. The government should stay out of abortion and the people must have their own moral and ethical awakening to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancy

 @B24L7YF from Arkansas  answered…9mos9MO

I don't think people should be allowed to abort unless they have to because Mom is at risk of dying or any other medical issue.

 @B23MR45 from Arkansas  answered…9mos9MO

 @9ZVTBVW from Arkansas  answered…10mos10MO

An abortion when conducted to save a mother from a fatal accident if baby is not healthy when coming out is not and abortion and is necessary to protect the mother, but pro-life in other cases

 @9ZGVFXC from Arkansas  answered…10mos10MO

Pro-Choice, unless it was because of a rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child, and can't abort after the first three months, also the government has not right to choose to ban it

 @9YDMCYJ from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I'm with the Pro-Life but it shouldn't be banned because some people is not ready for a baby or just don't want one or like didn't mean to make one it should not be banned to have a abortion.

 @9YD2T2S from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

no because that is a living organaism that you are killing and whoever supports abortion is a disgrace to humanity.

 @9Y8PJ9W from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Pro-choice, if rape, incest, danger to the mother or child, or if they do not have the money for a child or to take care of a child

 @9XSK4WL from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Pro-Life, but if it's a choice between the baby and the mom dying or just the baby it is acceptable.

 @9XRBYDS from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Pro-life and if it's due to rape or similar things, make the person at fault pay for all doctor visits, food, and everything for the mom for the first 5 years and the kid until the kid graduates from college.

 @9XM24VB from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I think that it is people choice, but shouldn't be a thing at all, for us to have that choice at all, ever child planed or not should have a good happy life with loving parents!!.

 @9XLZFYP from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I am pro-choice. As a man, I don't have the right to make this decision and neither does the government. Along with this, I believe that we should increase sex-ed and provide social services to assist with cases.

 @9XH8769 from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I deeply think that abortion is wrong but, the person who is having a baby should have a reasonable excuse to abort the baby, for example if the person was raped or anything that a person could not ask for shouldn't be having a baby.

 @9XFDLJN from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I don't think its a choice or life, Because if you are to be raped you cant do anything about it, your forced to keep the baby, and have to live with that. But on the other hand if you were being irresponsible, and got pregnant then you should live with this kid, just making you realize this is what happens when your not responsible.

 @9X5SWD3 from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Pro-life, but allowing in cases of rape, incest, danger to the child. Banning after the 3rd month for all cases unless the mother is in danger. Provide religious exemptions.

 @9WQ2BM3 from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Pro-choice, I think that abortion should always be a last resort and less should happen, but the government has no right to ban it.

 @9WPK262 from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

in my opinion it should not be a thing because that's a innicent baby you just killed atleast just put it up for adoption

 @9WP4HD2 from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Pro-life except if its a rape victim and it should be dealt with immediately and not when its months old.

 @9WM6GNS from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I think that if a man cannot make one, he has no right to tell a woman when and where to create one. And while I may not love abortions, it's not my business and the government shouldn't have the right to ban it.

 @9WLFGDC from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Pro-choice, I don't agree but the government should allow it up to a certain point, probably the first trimester. Also try to reduce the number of abortions by promoting safe sex.

 @9WHR77SRepublican from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I think that abortion should not be a birth control for people messing around. But if your are raped for example you should have the choice to get a abortion.

 @9WHQTZ6No Labels from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I think it should be a option because of peophile's rape kids and they get pregnant and most kids die because they have to give birth.

 @9WFBX93 from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I think it should be before the first three months or in the case of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child

 @9WD9RFZ from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

yes and no, i say no because what if the babys suffering or gonna die or the birth of the baby can kill it and the mother and then i say yes it should be prohibited to those who just perposly go out and get pregnate and act stupid and dont use protection and that have abortions faster then a pill poper poppiing pills

 @9W6GWSW from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

There are situations where abortions are necessary, where the mother will no longer be able to have children unless an abortion is performed, or where the child is already dead before being born, and causes an infection, which can also kill the mother. This is not prohibited in the major religions under these specific guidelines.

 @9VXQJBMPeace and Freedom from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Pro-life, because killing babies is bad stuff. NO NO NO! Stop throwing them out of the hospital windows!

 @9VSB877 from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

Pro-choice, but ban it after 4 months, as well as government-sanctioned birth control, sex education, contraceptives, and more social services.

 @9VRVF52Republican from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

Pro-choice, but ban after 20-22 weeks, unless it causes danger to the mother or child's life, or was caused by rape, or incest, and any other real medical reasons

 @9VLXBH9 from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

I'm mostly in the middle I want abortion to be available in causes of rape, incest, danger to the mother or child but I'm also like we should also provide more things to help prevent a baby from happening

 @9VG9RQ6  from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

pro life but i believe everyone has their own BELIEFS and that no one should force your belief on someone else

 @9VBY5DJWomen’s Equality from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

Pro-choice, with education about sex being given during puberty , lower cost of medicines such as plan b, care for those who go through abortion, and the right to walk into a clinic and not get mobbed and screamed at by people outside

 @9TQHZ67 from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

It depends on the situation. If you are raped and you get pregnant you should be able to have the voice to get rid of it for the simple reason that you were raped and don't want to have a child that looks like your rapist or give the rapist satisfaction. Now if you re willingly having unprotected sex and you get pregnant you should not have the option to abort for the reason you knew what you were doing and you need to learn how to deal with your own life decisions.

 @9TMC2ND from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

I feel that there should be requirerments in order to have one such as, being raped or anything of that nature.

 @9THG8CRRepublican from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

I think it is ridiculous and should not be a thing. There's no sense in taking a newborns life because it isn't in your favor.

 @9SMBG8W  from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

I'm Pro-Life, in cases of Rape, Incest and other unfortunate events, and provide better Sex Education and birth control.

 @9SGKVR2 from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-choice, unless the abortion would take place due to the recklessness or carelessness of the mother, then I believe they should not be able to abort the child due to them not being safe, Birth control, And Sex Education should be provided

 @9S9277X from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

i feel i a little bit of both because if you get raped at 12 you should not be forced to have the baby because your not fully responsible enough and if you dont have help from parents it could be hard to get education and get money. so i say it depends on the situation.

 @9S8QR9X from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro choice, I don’t necessarily like it but it’s not my business what other people do. We should increase funding for sex education and birth control and other services that would help in the long term.

 @9RGJ4QY from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro- life, any child that is conceived has life and a soul. Killing the child should be considered murder.

 @9PYG8XG from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Abolitionist; abortion is murder in every case except when the mother could not survive pregnancy or childbirth.

 @9PTZCQ3 from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

States rights issue. I am pro-life but advocate adoption, education, child protective intervention and sterilization of abusers

 @9P6SM7G from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Both, it should be allowed in cases of rape and anger to the mother but also, the government has no right to ban it.

 @9N4M4ZK from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Both (mom and dad) should be able to choose, if the dad wants it and the mom dont then the dad gets to have the kid and cant ask for help with money. Same thing the other way around.

 @9MGB4RHCA Common Sense from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Due to religious reasons, it depends on the circumstance. However, I do believe that the government is not one to decide this, so definitely leaning more pro-choice.

 @9MBHYDY from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

only if it a minor they should get an abortion, if it a victim they can chose to get an abortion and if it just a woman doing sex for fun she can not get an abortion

 @9LYY94C from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

pro-life & pro-choice, i feel like its shouldn't be banned but if it's the choice of the mother to get one she should be allowed to, but not allowed to get it after the first 3 months, and it should be a given option for rape, incest, and if the mother or child is in danger.

 @9LY7TR7Democrat from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

I believe that abortion is good and bad, I believe that it is good if the mother is not in a good place to take care of a child by any cercumstances. But, I believe that it is bad if that just "do not want the child" because measures should have been taken in the first place to prevent that.

 @9LY78BJ from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

 @9L8CS9C from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

If someone gets an abortion they are killing a baby and that’s murder and they should ban all abortion places everywhere in America .

 @9KML293 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I'm in the middle. I lean towards more of pro choice because I don't think its right to kill something even if people think it's not technically a "child." However I can also see the argument when it comes to rape and incest.

 @9KHNJLRRepublican from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I personally wouldn't have one if in the situation but I think its better to have the option open for those who may have trauma or cant financially take care of the baby or maybe the baby will grow up in a really bad environment and it could cause stress on both the parent and the child

 @9KFRPPS from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

It depends on how you got pregnant. If you were raped and want an abortion it's understandable but if you yourself made the decision to have unprotected sex then you should have to deal with the consequences.

 @9KDLC2W from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

While I do not support abortion in some cases, if there are victims in rape in incest it should be allowed. Also, providing more social services and sex education might help students understand.

 @9K6X35DConstitution from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9HGQM2D from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

when it comes to very young women,if they are not suitable to take care of the child an,is not ready ro sustainable life for the child they should have the right to have an abortion,although by the age of 22 and up abortion should be illegal,when you have no reason to abort a child it should be illigel at age 22 and up.

 @9HGNGM3 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

pro-choice, all rape, incest, and other cases should be able to chose if they want the child or not of not they can chose of they will posed with abortion.

I do not think it is right if you don't want a kid then don't get in that shorten, but with rape, or other things like that then it should be ok.

 @9HG895W from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that if the baby is healthy and doing well then there is no reason it should get aborted. This is with the exception to rape and incest victims. If the baby has a ton of health complications and is expected to live for a short amount of time then they should be aborted because we shouldn't make them suffer.
