The Affordable Care Act is a federal statute signed into law in 2010 that introduces a sweeping overhaul of the nation’s healthcare system. The act grants the federal government significant regulatory powers and price controls over U.S. medical service providers and insurance companies. The Act’s landmark provisions included an insurance mandate which prohibited insurers from denying coverage to individuals due to preexisting conditions and insurance requirements for individual children who did not have coverage via their families. The Act also required states to set up and main…

I support the idea of Obamacare. I believe that someone should have the idea of receiving healthcare and shouldn't denied regardless of the issue. However, people should have the right to choose their healthcare insurance and not have an employer choose it.
Yes, but needs to be more affordable. Also, several needed medications are not covered and are restricted too much on providers.
@9RYL5FT11mos11MO
I support that it makes healthcare more affordable for citizens, but I do not support that we have people having to pay people who aren't from this country more for their healthcare than their own.
People that should be on this are the people that want to make a change for themselves and not for the people that are going to keep doing what they are going to do.

Mo bomba is a great song! The 808s truly come to life during the chorus and take you on a psychedelic ride to paradise, the artist, crafted a beauty that will definitely stand the test of time.
@9GSGPR32yrs2Y
The government does not have the authority to make medical decisions for its citizenry, but requiring insurance companies to ensure more people makes health care more accessible and access to healthcare is a basic human right.
@9F7LZ3JIndependent2yrs2Y
No, it's a horrible system and needs to be replaced with Universal Healthcare.
@9DSJH5P2yrs2Y
There needs to be a national health insurance that is a set percent of income
@9DL6D832yrs2Y
The US should make national health insurance that pays a portion of the cost depending on the income of the patient.
@9DGRSW9Republican2yrs2Y
Yes I like affordable health care but do not like Obama.
@9DCGCPMRepublican2yrs2Y
No, because if people get used to having money handed to them, that is what they are going to expect from everyone. (the gov) And they won't know what to do once the government stops handing out money.
@8GGSQ6K5yrs5Y
The idea is something I support but Obamacare isn’t the right way to go about it
@9CH7GPFWomen’s Equality2yrs2Y
not enough knowledge on this?
@9BS2BN32yrs2Y
No, shouldn't force it upon citizens with a penalty
@964VF4P3yrs3Y
I do not support the ACA in its current configuration. It sounded good on paper but in execution its been fairly poor and doesn't provide Americans who really need it with affordable healthcare. Abolishing it and implementing a tax-payer funded system (or a "Medicare for All") similar to what is seen in Canada or Sweden would be better. Otherwise, a massive overhaul of the system is needed, and we need to open the markets so insurers can compete across state and country lines to reduce costs, and consumers should be allowed to choose their providers and import pharmaceuticals from other countries.
@95XKLNX3yrs3Y
No, go for an option of nationalized health care or private health care, and only those who use the nationalized health care have to pay the taxes for it.
@93VXB473yrs3Y
No, I support universal healthcare but not this version
@93SHQL73yrs3Y
I guess but needs reformed
@93PW3BKIndependent3yrs3Y
Universal healthcare should be mandated
Healthcare should be free not just "affordable"
@8ZSGXTY3yrs3Y
Yes, but I would prefer universal healthcare and ban corporate/for-profit insurance companies
@8ZQMN7S3yrs3Y
Health care should be free/affordable anyway
@8ZK9ND33yrs3Y
yes, but only the idea of it. there can be more ways to lower costs and make it easier.
@8YFDB9G3yrs3Y
I think parts of the plan are good but as a whole it seems like more of a short term fix and something new and better planned organized should replace it
Yes, but it needs to be better implemented and worked on
@8WK79LR4yrs4Y
Many people don’t have access to heathcare with this act, so no.🙏✝️
@8W5KGLG4yrs4Y
i suport it but i think that some of the elligablity things are kinda all over the place
@8VPXD2G4yrs4Y
I feel like there should be free health care honestly
@8TNZLKS4yrs4Y
Everyone should have access to healthcare but the government should definitely be talking with medical professionals because the government simply isn't qualified to make medical decisions.
@8T8RT2L4yrs4Y
No one should have to pay for a basic necessity.
@8RBGM2P4yrs4Y
only in the case that someone is in that bad of a financial situatuion.
@8NS7Y4G5yrs5Y
Instead of Obama care, we should implement the UBI system.
@8N8CC2V5yrs5Y
Health insurance should be free to every person
@8N79FTG5yrs5Y
No, but low-income citizens should still have access to more affordable healthcare.
@8N4TTX25yrs5Y
Socializing healthcare is good, but I don't no how to feel about Obamacare.
@8N3KS4L5yrs5Y
A bit but I don't really care about politics.
@8MKTCT65yrs5Y
No, Obama needs to get off of his high horse, and step down and stop trying to control our country. His care is not relevant
@8M94CJZ5yrs5Y
No, government should regulate hospital profit margins and their should be price transparency and cost caps.
@8LYL6F85yrs5Y
No, it increases taxes on every other type of insurance to pay for this.
@8LRV8MB5yrs5Y
No one understands the ACA with all the amendments and riders Congress attached. We need to start over and provide everyone with the opportunity to choose to pay into and participate in Medicare while allowing others to choose to keep what they have.
@8L3LSQS5yrs5Y
@8KR8XYG5yrs5Y
I don't really know about Obamacare.
@8KKPFL55yrs5Y
No, the IRS should play no role in our healthcare
@8HCD6VB5yrs5Y
i dont really care about this.
@Candugh315yrs5Y
No Obamacare but mandatory acceptance of pre existing conditions
@8DN97G85yrs5Y
Yes, but make it mandatory acceptance of all patients
@8CS9GMR5yrs5Y
I dislike the republican-added riders that hampered Obamacare, however I don't trust republican congressmen to create a better alternative without Democrat intervention/revising. Basically Obamacare isn't as good as it should be, and the current congress is not a body I trust to formulate a replacement.
@8CP8FQFIndependent5yrs5Y
Universal healthcare would be better as long as people who needed immediate care could receive it.
@8CHFWFX5yrs5Y
Healthcare should be free like in Canada
While I'm not exactly sure how this could happen yet, I want healthcare to be free, like in other areas.
@9C2CLLY2yrs2Y
I think I support it but I would like to learn more.
@9B6CBLH2yrs2Y
Yes, but Medicade doesn't give enough benefits
@99JMR3Q2yrs2Y
It needs to be furthered
@99DN4SJ2yrs2Y
@98LPVKH3yrs3Y
I'll support whatever lowers healthcare
@97XMR3X3yrs3Y
Don’t know enough about topic
@97GD8MC3yrs3Y
No, healthcare should be free like the majority of other countries.
@97FS5KR3yrs3Y
Healthcare needs an overhaul. There is too much greed with insurers, pharma and health systems making people incredibly rich rather than the money going to providing care.
@97BXCQP3yrs3Y
Yes , I believe a single payer system would work but to also have the market open so insurers can compete across state lines and reduce the cost . Then just have state restrictions or requirements be placed. Just like Life or Annuity insurance does.
@97BK66R3yrs3Y
No it made it to where a lot of people can’t get heath insurance because they are not poor enough for it. Healthcare should be free, no one should have to pay for insurance and medication, medicine, and treatments, surgeries relating to health should all be free. Obama and the government are greedy, and discriminative towards felons.
@976KL5KRepublican3yrs3Y
The basis for the act was ok but the health care system and coverage as a whole in the united states are very broken and this plan was a huge fail.
@8RC98SC4yrs4Y
Yes and allow private insurance to compete nationwide.
@8MXQNQ85yrs5Y
Yes, I support the idea of Obamacare which is to make healthcare affordable for all people.
@8LJML9L5yrs5Y
Yes, but premiums should be capped because most plans are still unaffordable for the average American.
@8LJGHVP5yrs5Y
Get a job make a effort to build your own life to live! It’s not my problem to pay for others health care! It’s only my family that I care about. Period
@8G54Q4L5yrs5Y
Yes, but it is not affordable for most families
@8FLNBX85yrs5Y
No tax penalties for not having insurance. It hurts the poor.
