It sounded good on paper but in execution its been fairly poor and doesn't provide Americans who really need it with affordable healthcare. Abolishing it and implementing a tax-payer funded system (or a "Medicare for All") similar to what is seen in Canada or Sweden would be better. Otherwise, a massive overhaul of the system is needed, and we need to open the markets so insurers can compete across state and country lines to reduce costs, and consumers should be allowed to choose their providers and import pharmaceuticals from other countries.
