Neither they should be paid a fair share hourly and salary wisely by saying to these companies and corporations you do not treat yourself respectfully than you do not deserve that money or opportunity to be there

 @bhuntoon from Kansas  answered…8mos8MO

If education, experience, and tenure are all the same there should be no discrimination based on gender. However individuals who have less of these three tangibles should not be paid the same as someone with more.

 @9WN7WGD from Kansas  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, at a base rate. then depending upon experience, education, and other employability and performance skills increases are given

 @9VQT38Z from Kansas  answered…9mos9MO

Same pay for same job based on experience and capability to do the job. There is a law that requires same pay based on sex.

 @9V3P4HN from Kansas  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, because even just because someone is a guy doesn't mean they should automatically make higher wages.

 @9TC9YQD from Kansas  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, with a focus on enacting polices to help ensure salaries are based on standards such as education, experience, tenure, and performance history.

 @9RX9VBV  from Kansas  answered…11mos11MO

The "wage gap" is fake. If it were real, every single company would employ only women at the reduced rate they claim.

 @9RLG8HK from Kansas  answered…11mos11MO

Yes, gender should have no play on wages, wages should be able to be decreased or increased at the discretion of a supervisor with the proof of sustained superior performance or sustained degraded performance

 @9RFSBC4 from Kansas  answered…11mos11MO

Same base pay range. Where a candidate would fall within that range should be decided by merit and experience.

 @9KDWPK7 from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Depend on their performance. If they try to use "oppression" even if you try to give them the same salary, fire them. Also, apply it to men so discourage toxic masculinity.

 @9JZF54D from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

The gender pay gap is misunderstood. its facter outside of gender such as maternity leave, education, culture etc that lead to the gap, not discrimination.

 @9HLYNFM from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

If it's the same job being performed to the same standard and hours. Men's and women's soccer for example is not the same. The men are better players and more people watch them play. It makes sense they get paid more and it's ridiculous that the women players can't see this.

 @9GZNHNQJustice party member from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Men and women should be paid the same. Women SHOULD NOT be paid less than men. It should be based on performance. Not gender.

 @9FHZN33 from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9FD5L5K from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

If the women do as good of a job as the man doing the same job then they can both get the same play

 @9FD5924 from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I think people who work hard should be paid good. I think sex should have nothing to do with it.

 @9DPYPNV  from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that it depends on the type of work, experience, work-ethic, and integrity that determines it but it shouldn't be such a huge wage gap either.

 @9DFLLWX from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but the gender wage-gap is a myth, or at the very least, vastly blown out of proportion.

 @9D6PYY3 from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

They should be paid the same starting wage. This would then be affected by how many hours worked, quality of work, ect.

 @96G86CC from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @966ZD5BUnity from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, as long as a woman with similar education, experience, and tenure is being paid the same as a man with similar education, experience, and tenure.

 @94L5FKM from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

If women complain about not being paid the same, then the simple thing is if they do as good of job they will be paid the same

 @94KGJLRRepublican from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

they shouldnt have to be required to pay the same wage but should be a given that a man or a woman doing the same job gets the same wage

Depending on the ranking and how many years they accomplished and how their profession is. Equal rights is good when it is done right.

 @92KPYF3 from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, There are too many variables. However, corporations should be required to publish salary ranges.

 @8ZTCXKB from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, employers should pay based on the ability to do the job, not based on gender.

 @8Z5FRZL from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8YWDDLY from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8XV2M55 from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

It should depend on how much production a person is getting done if a female is getting more don then she gets higher pay.

 @8XJSJPP from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but not because of gender but because of the quality of their job performance

 @8XBJLJJ from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, so long that any woman who is paid less receives a pay increase and no men who is paid more receives a paid deduction.

 @8V6VQBK from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, if they have similar variables such as education, experience, and tenure.

 @8T6PZ2W from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

Measurements of value provided and productivity, in addition to a minimum and maximum wage range, should be established for each job, in addition to providing profit-sharing and other benefits.

 @8RXZ6H7 from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

Not necessarily, it depends on individual circumstances. If a female decides not to have kids and take time away from work, then yes. If a female does have kids and the employer gives more time to females who have kids than males, then no. Other scenarios exist to determine this.

 @8R6W8JX from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

Basic salary ranges per position should be posted as well as education, experience, and performance raises held by current position holders.

 @8R2HK6L from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

If they are both hired with the same amount of experience they should be paid the same.

 @8NWXPYH from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8K6SH3H from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8FLMQCY from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes as long as variables such as education, experience, and tenure play a role in that salary.

 @8D552XT from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

You should be paid the salary you're worth regardless of gender. Women could make even more than men, in theory.

 @9CL6H98 from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

yes, but only if they are physically doing the same job with the same set of standards (even physical).

 @9CKD9QX from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

No, they should pay based on how good they are at the job, as well as experience. So if a woman does the job better, pay her more. And vice versa for the man. Don’t force equal pay, but pay equal if both are as good at the same job.

 @9CJRBXB from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Gender pay gap isn't about gender or sex. in fact that is the least factor out of the many factors there are.

 @9CH9L2M from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9BBS2SG from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9B9KS2S from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9B6GDHQLibertarian from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

It depends on output. If a female employee is contributing the same as a male, then she deserves her rightful equal pay. If this is not the case, then pay difference is justified.

 @99V4CFSLibertarian from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

No - whoever you are, if you want more money and it's not coming, seek other work. If you can't get it, then you have the answer to what you're really worth in this market, at least for now. Improve your worth, and you should be able to get more pay without resorting to proxy violence. At least once we get rid of the parasites who mess with other people's wages.

 @97VK5H4 from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @97KPKRH from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, they should at least be required to pay men and women with the same experience level and qualifications the same as well as offer them the same amount for raises

 @93HFX3S from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8QBMBLH from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, this is irrelevant because the gender wage gap is a myth, it doesn't take into account the amount of extra hours worked, wich jobs and the amount of time of.

 @8G5T788 from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, the only thing that should effect salary is qualifications for the job like education and experience.

 @8TWB9FX from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but I think that they should be required to state why they are not being paid the same. Such as, more experience, who works harder, and more education.

 @2PQFYGTfrom Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

Salaries are not fair. The people who do labor jobs and live in the highest risk make the least amount of money. Gender is at best a secondary issue.
