Help, but with a focus on ensuring they operate with integrity and true representation of their members' needs.

They help in theory but if corruption is suspected, it should be investigated along with any political donations they give if they are found to be corrupt.

Labor unions are currently the only defensive system in place for workers to protect them from extreme exploitations by the capitalist class. Without the existence of unions, workers in the US would not have many of the rights afforded to them today. As long as corporations are extracting surplus value from their workers without compensating them fairly, there should be organized bodies in place to demand dignity for those working class people.

They help since it gives the unions an opportunity to represent themselves but can easily hurt whenever they begin to strike.

Both but I lean more towards hurt because they have become corrupted as well. It also depends on the union but I also say the same for corporations as well.

Labor unions can be good in certain circumstances like getting healthcare or a wage increase but they are also bad like when teachers go on strike in the middle of the school year or certain necessities to society are halted to to a strike

Hurt, replace with a "Guild system" Where employers and employees, and a variety of people from different social classes cooperating for mutual benefit

 @8PWSY73Unity from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Hurt, replace with a guild system composed of both Employers and Employees to work out arrangements together

 @8C7S5MH from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Hurt, but they protect individuals. I'm strongly against police unions.

 @9CMM6ZK from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Incentives should be given to employers to provide better care of employees. Especially Health insurance and retirement contributions. This would minimize the need for labor unions.

 @9BXZ6TF from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Hurt, people should be allowed to organize of their own volition, and discuss potential problems, and attempt to bargain for better conditions, but it ultimately should be a comment suggestion box, with the CEO retaining the power to accept or reject any proposal, disband the union if it becomes a hindrance to, or disrupts the operation of the company and violates the employment contract, up to and including firing any and all workers suspected of further revolutionary zeal. if it becomes a threat to the CEO's Sovereignty, he should be able to act to save his company and he should under no means be defrocked.

 @8TTL2MVIndependent from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I only support private unions due to the massive corruption in public unions and mismanagement of funds within said public unions.

 @998BC34 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I am not a fan of a Union. I do not believe I should pay someone to work for them nor agree that one strikes we all strike. But to each their own.

Labor Unions built this country and established a middle class. It’s the greedy corporations and their upper management and boards that are crippling this country.
