On the other hand, too much government control can limit freedom and create inefficiency. A balanced approach is the best solution, where the government sets reasonable rules but still allows people and businesses to operate freely.

I agree this is an important perspective. Thoughtful discussion on issues like this really matters, and it’s good to see people speaking up.

True, that is why it would only be for teachers who wish to be armed and complete rigorous monthly psychiatric testing and training in order to approve them to have a gun on campus.

I definitely agree with this as i have lots of teachers in my family and even though I dont see them doing this some of there coworkers are stress and result to smoking or lashing out putting a gun on there hip is just disaster waiting to happen.

Teachers are often in a very high stress environment which could lead them breaking down and being the school shooter, it would add a layer of protection and I believe most teachers would die for their students but many are underappreciated and underpaid for doing such an important job for the growth of the US.

Yes, I agree with this but realistically when danger happens and there are no guns in the schools except for the shooter then what? Everyone is unarmed and that would be a recipe for disaster. Shooters tend to go where people are vulnerable. With people knowing that there are guns on the premises and not knowing exactly who, I'd doubt that they would want to test it.

I agree because that will lead to kids using guns which no student should do until legal and old enough.
