I'm all for college education being more affordable for everyone, but where is the money to send everyone to college for free going to come from? It also would not be fair to the generations of Americans who had to pay back student loans if everyone would now be allowed to attend college for free. I think college tuition and the interest rates on student loans should be significantly reduced, but we can't make everything free. Colleges rely on tuition to maintain their campuses and provide students with services, clubs, sports, etc.

Free College for All adds an incredibly large amount to the already large debt that the government carries.

As a financially unstable student, i believe there should be more scholarships and opportunities for lower icome students so they are not struggling in debt in the future.

"Gratis" es solo una ilusión óptica. Alguien más está pagando esa matrícula con el fruto de su trabajo, y ese dinero deja de invertirse en otras áreas de la economía que podrían ser más productivas.

I would not as then we would have people using college for the wring reasons or free loading to an extent compared to now how people at college are there because they want to be hence by them paying or not having fully free college.

I am a poor college student I will not be able to afford a loan for a four year institution. We spend billions on military to take over other countries, but not make sure our students have a fair chance of education.

I Agree with it there are so many college students in debt and debt is something that dosen't go away until you die or when you pay it off, and it is hard to do which is what I've heard from my parents. Colleges can still receive money from the government along with some tuition.

I agree. As a student who does not receive government aid and instead has a scholarship that helps, money is a real worry. My scholarship helps, but it doesn't cover the full cost of my university. In today's world, very few jobs can be obtained without at least a bachelor's degree, but the cost of these degrees is still high and continues to increase. Many other countries around the world implement free higher education, or for a very low cost.

They should have free college for every one for they could have a better feature and also for they could be suss sex full and be a good person

I agree with this comment about Free College for All because paying for college doesn’t last forever—once you reach your aggregate limit, your options become very limited, even if you’re motivated and doing well academically. I’ve personally experienced how frustrating it is to want to continue your education but run into financial barriers that are completely out of your control. Education shouldn’t stop because someone has hit a funding cap. Sharing experiences like this matters, and I appreciate the author for speaking up, because it helps others realize they’re not alone in facing these challenges.

I absolutely agree, tuition for most of us is one of the most stressful parts about education, and removing that burden will truly make education and graduation rates go through the roof, I believe.

I do agree with this comment, as a student it is hard to find work with a flexible enough schedule to work around school hours. without a strong source of income it makes it extremely difficult to pay off college tuition.

 @B9QX4K3 from Utah  agreed…5mos5MO

I agree but it also should be held accountable on how this money is being distributed and how the funds are directly going for living expenses and not luxury.

 @B9R29PLIndependent from Texas  agreed…5mos5MO

I agree but also disagree. If everyone was granted the right to free college, colleges would be way more selective, and getting hard-earned jobs would be way easier.

 @B9QY8XW  from Minnesota  agreed…5mos5MO

Giving students free college will help students and some families as well because is not every family that can afford the fees to every college due to financial unstable situation

 @B9QXYC5 from Minnesota  agreed…5mos5MO

I think free collage would help a lot of students but teachers still need to get paid. I think people need to pay if they want to go to college.
