I see why abortion exists, but it shouldn't apply to people who were irresponsible with birth control or with people who decided to engage in making a child with someone on a one night stand. It's simply better to have a child with someone you're AT LEAST friends with, plan to marry, or are married to. And it's better to use birth control until you're ready to make that decision to bring a baby into this world.

I agree with this comment, you should not be actively engaging with making a child with someone to simply be pro choice and kill the fetus. I understand there are different circumstances and different situations where you may conceive a baby in the "wrong" time however that should give someone the right to kill the baby.

IF we force people to have children especally after a mistake or a one-night stand, they will grow to resent and hate the children that come from those situations. The act itself is not just to make children; that's not the goal, the majority of the time. So if you have the option to remove some unwanted cells afterwards, so you don't create a whole human, you should have that choice and option no matter what.

Although I can see where you're coming from, I simply just don't agree. At the end of the day, if someone chooses to engage in sexual activity and later decides they don't want a child, they should have the right to make that decision for themselves. It is ultimately their body and their choice, and no one else has to live with the physical, emotional, and financial consequences except them. Especially in today's economy, having a child is not always the ideal or realistic option, and people should be trusted to decide what is best for their own lives.

There is no reliable way to be 100% sure on who was "responsible" vs "irresponsible". In fact, over 70% of SA victims do not realize they were in fact SA'd. I agree with the fact that we should be more responsible with just throwing our bodies around, but that cannot be reliably determined. Furthermore, what people do with their bodies is their choice, thus leaving the decision of abortion and irresponsible sex on them.
When you know you are not ready to be able to support yourself along with a child, pysically or mentally it is better to just not. And why put your body through those changes when it is preventable before it is even a human being. I do understand you need to take responsibility for your actions and if you are able to provide a good life and you are ready for a baby then yay. But at the end of the day it is nobodys decision but the women going through the situation

If you make someone have a baby they do not want, that child will suffer in life and not have an auspicious future. Also, making someone go through the pain of childbirth is very sad and cruel. The mother can also try to hurt herself and the baby, just so that they may never have to give birth and can die.
Birth control is not always effective. Sex is going to happen regardless of a person's desire to have a child. Sure, someone can argue that it was their choice to partake in those activities, but ultimately the growth of a child is occuring inside of that person's body as well, and they deserve to choose whether or not to keep it until they give birth/the baby reaches a specific point of development. It is impossible to legally justify your stance. Abortion is healthcare and it is not "conditional" based on the situation.

Abortion is the responsible choice. You should not be making a child with someone on a one night stand or in another unplanned way. That is immoral. Do the ethical responsible thing and get an abortion.
