Rome Welcomes Half a Million Youth for Historic Catholic Jubilee

Rome is preparing to host over half a million young people from around the world for the Jubilee of Youth, the largest event of the 2025 Holy Year.

The weeklong celebration, running from July 28 to August 3, will feature religious gatherings, pilgrimages, and special access to the Holy Doors of the Papal Basilicas. Delegations from countries including South Korea, Egypt, South Africa, and the United States are participating, highlighting the event's global significance. The Jubilee aims to foster hope, fraternity, and peace among youth, with both in-person and livestreamed events for those unable to travel.
