Typhoon Wipha has battered Hong Kong, southern China, and northern Vietnam, causing widespread travel disruptions, flooding, and damage.

Hong Kong issued its highest storm warning, canceling over 500 flights and suspending public transport as hurricane-force winds and heavy rains hit the city. The storm then made landfall in southern China and northern Vietnam, where authorities evacuated residents, closed airports, and warned of flash floods and landslides. Thousands have been displaced, and several deaths have been reported across the region.
