Sad to see anyone’s property targeted, but this just highlights how intrusive and overreaching the state’s security apparatus has become—even when it’s politicians’ homes at risk, the answer always seems to be more surveillance and police powers. Maybe if government wasn’t so big and meddling, we wouldn’t have these kinds of tensions in the first place.
