The US military is set to begin removing transgender service members who do not voluntarily leave by early June, according to a memo from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
This directive could affect around 1,000 transgender troops and has ignited strong backlash from activists and supporters of LGBTQ+ rights. The policy marks a significant shift in military personnel policy and raises concerns about discrimination and the future of inclusivity in the armed forces. The move is expected to face legal and political challenges as it unfolds.
The decision has quickly become a flashpoint in the ongoing debate over transgender rights in the United States.

I think it was a good decision. The chemicals they use to change could make them unreliable and unsteady which is not what we want in our military. We need strong brave men and women that can compete basic tasks. If they are found capable by all means let them help but it should be highly regulated.
