Honestly, this is exactly why free speech needs to be protected no matter how unpopular the opinion is

The government has no business telling students what they can or can’t protest about, whether it’s Palestine, Israel, or anything else. When politicians start cracking down on campus speech, it sets a dangerous precedent for censorship across the board. If you’re worried about safety, deal with actual violence—not ideas or peaceful protests. At the end of the day, the First Amendment isn’t just for speech we agree with, it’s for all speech, period.
