Israel has carried out massive airstrikes on Yemen's main airport in Sanaa, reportedly disabling the facility and destroying planes and runways.
The strikes were in retaliation for a Houthi missile attack on Israel's international airport the previous day. At least three people were killed and over 30 wounded in the attacks. The Israeli military issued a warning for civilians to evacuate the area before the strikes.
This escalation marks a significant intensification in the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen.

This kind of retaliation just fuels more violence and puts innocent civilians in even more danger—there has to be a better path forward than endless airstrikes.
Honestly, Israel had every right to respond after the Houthis attacked our airport—no country can just sit back and let that happen. It’s tragic that civilians are caught in the middle, but the IDF did warn people to evacuate beforehand. This should send a clear message to Iran and its proxies that there are real consequences for targeting Israel.
