As long as these trips are about promoting free trade and not getting us entangled in more foreign commitments, I’m all for it. The U.S. should be encouraging voluntary economic partnerships, not playing world police. Just hope taxpayers aren’t footing the bill for a family vacation disguised as diplomacy.
