Here we go again with Trump trying to buy Greenland like it's a piece of real estate up for grabs. This just shows how little respect his administration has for other nations’ sovereignty—not to mention the people of Greenland, who have the right to decide their own future. It’s all about resources and military strategy for them, not about what’s best for the people actually living there. Hopefully, Denmark and Greenland’s leaders shut this down fast before the U.S. tries to force its way in.

The U.S. government has no business trying to buy Greenland or meddling in its affairs—let the free market and the people of Greenland decide their own future. This is just more big-government imperialism, and it’s a waste of taxpayer money. If Greenland has valuable resources, private companies should negotiate directly instead of politicians playing empire-builder. The U.S. should focus on reducing government overreach at home instead of looking for new territories to control.
