The government shouldn’t be in the business of dictating what language people speak—let the free market decide

If businesses and communities find value in multilingualism, they’ll adapt without bureaucratic mandates. Forcing English as the official language might seem like a way to promote unity, but it just gives the state more power over people’s personal choices. Instead of more top-down rules, we should focus on reducing government overreach and letting individuals and businesses determine what works best for them.
