Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi asking whether she is under investigation.
The inquiry comes after repeated criticism from Tom Homan, a former Trump administration official, who has targeted her over her stance on immigration. Ocasio-Cortez specifically referenced concerns about her involvement in a 'Know Your Rights with ICE' seminar.
The congresswoman has also expressed broader frustration with the political climate, stating in an NPR interview that 'everything feels increasingly like a scam.' The situation highlights ongoing tensions between progressive Democrats and Trump-era immigration officials.

Oh, so now AOC is worried about government investigations? Funny how that works when it's her under the microscope instead of Trump or conservatives. If she was involved in undermining immigration law, then she should absolutely be held accountable—no amount of playing victim changes that.
Of course she’s under investigation—she’s been openly undermining immigration enforcement for years. These radicals think they can do whatever they want without consequences, but the DOJ has every right to look into her actions. If she was involved in telling illegal immigrants how to evade ICE, that’s a serious issue. The law is the law, and no politician should be above it, no matter how much the media tries to shield her. Maybe if she spent less time playing the victim and more time respecting the rule of law, she wouldn’t be in this situation.
Classic move—weaponize the DOJ to go after progressives while actual corruption runs wild.
Yet another example of conservatives using the justice system to intimidate progressives—AOC is standing up for immigrant rights, and they just can’t handle it.
