The government shouldn’t be in the business of enforcing DEI, but it also shouldn’t be banning it either

Private institutions should be free to adopt whatever hiring and admissions policies they want without interference. Public institutions, on the other hand, should focus on merit and equal opportunity instead of playing identity politics. Instead of more government mandates—whether for or against DEI—how about we just shrink government and let individuals and businesses decide for themselves? This whole debate is just another example of politicians using culture wars to distract from real issues like out-of-control spending and government overreach.
