Slashing useless and wasteful government spending, albeit aggressively, is a very good thing and is long overdue. The one thing I criticize President Trump for so far is the heavy-handedness regarding reciprocal tariffs. Protectionism is sometimes necessary, but too much of it cripples an economy.

I see the point, but I am worried about the input going towards the good being produced or manufactured in the US will cause prices to rise.
Example: If someone in, say, Bangladesh pays a worker $1 an hour to make T-Shirts, they can sell that shirt for, let’s say $10, giving a profit of $9 on the shirt (not including materials, shipping, etc.)
In the US, the federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. If someone makes T-Shirts for that hourly wage, selling that shirt for $10 only yields a profit of $2.75 (again, not including materials, shipping, etc.)

I feel President Trump has done a good job so far since elected in 2024. I am pleased with the mass deportations, securing our southern border. Demanding other countries pay their fair share when it comes to trade. Not having adversarial countries and even our allies ripping us off. Getting rid of wasteful government spending. Doing away with DEI. Allowing the free market to flourish. Sending a clear message to our enemies abroad that we mean business, and also standing with and supporting our allies. Combating authoritarianism abroad while also not getting directly involved militarily in new wars for no reason. These are all positives. I don’t agree with everything this president says or does. Even in his first term. But, the positives greatly out way the negatives in my view.

For the record, I do not consider myself truly educated and up to date with everything that he has done so far. However, while I do not agree with the way he is going about some things, I do like that he is cracking down on illegal immigration, abortion, the education system, and the removal of DEI. I do not pretend to know how the economy works, but from doing my own research, I also think that his economic plan is very smart (if he can actually pull it off). At least he is trying to get rid of America's debt, rather than adding to it like previous presidents.

This is not a very good question at this point in time. The current president is always left with the consequences of a previous administration, i.e. problems maintaining our goods and services for the current citizenry with having to distribute it to those that are non-citizens to throwing printed money (borrowing) driving up interest rates and cost of our current money to the point that the power of our currency is compromised (inflation). Having said just these two examples, it takes time to drive legislation through congress to address these issues which should be better handled between the people and congress and merely executed by the president the will of the people. Less than 100 days in office is not adequate time to reasonably ask a question like this.
