The Democrat Mayor of Denver, Colorado Mike Johnston has challenged Trump to try to deport any illegal migrants from his city, saying he would deploy the Denver City Police and volunteers from the local community to use force against federal forces trying to deport illegals.

This is the kind of nonsense that happens when politicians stop representing actual people and just pander to their base with empty gestures. Johnston knows exactly what he’s doing—playing the hero for his crowd, while completely ignoring the larger issues that put these people in danger in the first place.
Yeah, and who exactly is going to pay for all this "protection," huh? How many cops and volunteers are we going to pull away from real crime prevention to fight the federal government? Look, I’m all for local communities fighting back, but let’s not pretend this isn’t just a grandstanding move. The feds will crush this with federal law, and then local budgets will be wrecked. The fact that this needs to be said shows just how far off the rails this country has gone. Trump’s plan to tear families apart at the border was always a power grab—deportation isn’t about 'law and order,' it’s about cruelty.
