I’m not surprised Trump picked someone like Burgum—he’s got the business background and understands the importance of letting states manage their own lands without all the federal overreach. Hopefully, he’ll cut through some of the red tape and get the government out of the way when it comes to resource management. Less bureaucracy means we can actually make better use of our natural resources without being micromanaged from D.C. I just hope he doesn’t cave to special interests or the usual cronyism. Let’s see if he actually follows through on decentralizing control.
