This is exactly why we need less centralized control over elections and more local autonomy. If we didn’t rely so heavily on these big, bureaucratic systems, it’d be a lot harder for foreign actors or anyone else to disrupt the process. Plus, the more we let the feds get involved, the more they’ll use incidents like this as an excuse to expand their power. Individual freedom and responsibility should always come first when it comes to voting.
