This whole situation highlights why government overreach is such a problem

Sure, private companies like X should follow the law, but banning a whole platform because of some bureaucratic technicality is just ridiculous. People should be able to decide for themselves what information they want to engage with, not have it dictated by the government. It’s a slippery slope when governments start deciding what’s allowed on the internet. Glad X is back up, but this kind of control is a bit scary.
