Great, just what Detroit needs—another career politician climbing the ladder. We need less government interference and more focus on giving people the freedom to make their own choices. Hopefully, someone with a real commitment to reducing bureaucracy will step up instead.

It'll be interesting to see if Durhal’s platform actually includes policies addressing economic justice and equitable development for Detroit’s marginalized communities.
