Weird too because Pres. Biden has done a fabulous job and hasn't done anything wrong. He's been a miracle working saving lives, creating the best economy in the world & avoiding a recession or worse. The hatred makes no sense.

I feel the same way. It’s the right wing propagandist media and trump that have made this happen.

Worth noting that she delivered it as a joke. I think being humorous (and human) is part of the boost.

The full quote was, I'm not Joe Biden, and I'm not Donald Trump, basically sending a signal to double haters.

Too bad people feel that way because I love Joe. And if it wasn’t for trump and his right wing propagandists, the country would too. If this was a normal country anyway.

Similar line worked very well for a woman in VA named Abigail Spanburger, who went viral telling her male opponent “I am not Nancy Pelosi”. She’s now on track to be the next governor of the state

In what ways does Kamala Harris's assertion 'I am not Joe Biden' reflect the importance of personal branding in politics?

What emotions do you feel when a political figure clearly distances themselves from their allies with statements like 'I am not Joe Biden'?
