I’d feel like a controversy doesn’t make a political leader bad or good, it just shows his true side

I think that they deserve a chance and if they start messing things up we impeach them.

Depends on the controversy If they are involved in dishonestly, violence, or theft including insider trading they should be removed, and not allowed to come back.
