Most voters already know how they feel about Trump, but fewer know how they feel about Harris.
Harris needs many of those voters — including some independents, anti-Trump Republicans, older white voters, Latinos and African Americans — to take down Trump on Nov.

In the debate she'll try to show that she's not the "dangerously liberal" candidate that Trump calls her, but is the more moderate, seasoned version of herself that she's been selling in her brief campaign.
And though she's been vice president for 3½ years, she'll aim to cast herself as a candidate of change — and portray the former president as a divisive voice of the past.
On Monday, Harris offered hints of their debate strategy:
"He plays from this really old and tired playbook, right?" Harris told radio host Rickey Smiley.
"There's no floor for him in terms of how low he will go.... We should be prepared for the fact that he is not burdened by telling the truth."

It's swing voters - DUH!
First, Kamala needs blacks in Milwaukee, Detroit and Philly to turn out in Obama like numbers this thing will go to Trump.Second, Kamala also needs Arabs in Michigan to put country before tribe or this thing will go to Trump.
Third, assuming she goes 2-for-2 on the above, Kamala needs the wives of white male Trump voters to break with their hubbies in BIG numbers...that will put her over the top.
It's not going to be easy.

The Press have gone out of their way to make it look like the debate is a make or break moment for Harris, and just another day for Trump.

Pretty remarkable how incredibly much we’ve read and heard about “what Harris needs to do at the debate” and the standards the MSN demands from her, when the other guy is a 34x convicted felon, rapist who can’t string together a coherent sentence and posts stuff on social media about arresting and jailing his enemies if he wins. Trump… the media’s darling.

No need for her to show us that she despises Trump. We all do...including way too many who will actually vote for him. This is a way to get enough of those people to trust and vote for her instead. The media wil do what it has been doing but if she takes the writer's advice, she will win.
