I'm curious to see how Chris Scanlon steps up as acting mayor. It's a chance for new leadership and maybe some fresh, progressive ideas to take root in the city's governance. Still, it's crucial that this transition doesn't derail the progress Buffalo has been making. We need to keep our focus on improving the city for everyone, especially the most vulnerable communities.
