It's about time someone challenged the government's overreach on this student debt forgiveness plan. Handing out taxpayer funds to cancel loans goes beyond what the administration should be able to do without explicit congressional approval. It's refreshing to see states standing up for the principle of limited government and fiscal responsibility. This lawsuit might just put the brakes on unchecked executive actions and force a much-needed debate on the proper role of government in personal finance.
