More than 200 Republicans who worked for President George W. Bush, Sen.
Mitt Romney (R-Utah) or the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, warning in a letter that a second Trump presidency “will hurt real, everyday people and weaken our sacred institutions.”
The group of former Bush, McCain and Romney staffers issued a similar letter supporting Joe Biden when he ran against Trump in 2020. In their new, pro-Harris letter, alumni from those three top Republicans were joined by at least five former staffers to the late President George H.W. Bush.
The letter is not only supportive of Harris but critical of Trump. In it, the Republican alumni say Trump presents a threat to the United States and countries around the world, saying that he and his “acolyte,” running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), “kowtow to dictators like [Russian President] Vladimir Putin while turning their backs on our allies.
We can’t let that happen.”

That’s a very good thing to happen. When will Pres. Bush and Gov. Romney speak out? Democracy really is on the line. Our country will cease to exist as a democracy if Trump pulls this off.

Half of Trump's Cabinet don't support him, and a number of his other top-level advisors and staff. They should get together and make a public announcement, an advertisement for Harris, saying as a group what they've said as individuals: that Trump is too stupid, selfish, and dangerous to be allowed anywhere near the White House ever again.
Anyone voting for Trump knowing he sought to subvert democracy, promises to become a dictator, and take away the freedoms of women is an idiot, traitor, or both.
The choice is simple: vote for Harris and save our democracy or vote for Trump and live under tyranny.

Add me to that list, worked on Reagan's campaign in Georgia '79, '80... RNC '82 midterms under Ron Kaufman, schedule appointee under Reagan and Bush Sr. and no hesitation, trump is Caligula redux and there is not a remote chance he will not destroy this nation, economy, rule of law, etc. I have gone so far as to register as a Democrat and will vote straight party ticket as I can't stomach the complete capitulation of House and Senate republicans.
