Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy will be on the ballot in Arizona, the Arizona secretary of state’s office confirmed Wednesday to The Hill.
“The Kennedy campaign has been notified we conditionally accepted 118,752 petition signatures, and those electors will appear on the ballot,” JP Martin, a deputy communications director in the Arizona secretary of state’s office, said in an email to The Hill.
They needed 42,303 to qualify.
The news about Arizona comes alongside reporting from The Hill that Kennedy insiders were coming together via phone Wednesday to talk about campaign developments. According to ABC News, Kennedy might exit the race by the end of the week and is thinking of supporting former President Trump.
Kennedy also announced Wednesday that he will address the nation on Friday about his political future.
According to a press release from the Kennedy campaign, the speech will center on “the present historical moment and his path forward” and will occur in Phoenix at 2 p.m. EDT.
