Sen. JD Vance will hold a rally in Kensington, Pennsylvania, next week alongside three members of Congress who are also veterans, the Trump-Vance campaign announced in a news release.
Vance will be joined by GOP Reps.
Jim Banks, of Indiana, and Brian Mast and Michael Waltz, both of Florida. The event comes as Vance and his allies continue to attack Walz over his military service. Meanwhile, Democratic House members who served in the military and the progressive veterans group VoteVets have come to his defense.
“When Tim Walz was asked by his country to go to Iraq, do you know what he did? He dropped out of the Army and allowed his unit to go without him — a fact that he’s been criticized for aggressively by a lot of the people that he served with,” Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, Trump’s running mate and a Marine veteran who served in Iraq, said Wednesday at a news conference in Michigan.
“After 24 years of military service, Governor Walz retired in 2005 and ran for Congress, where he chaired Veterans Affairs and was a tireless advocate for our men and women in uniform — and as Vice President he will continue to be a relentless champion for our veterans and military families,” Harris campaign spokesperson Lauren Hitt said in a statement.

Unpopular War. He did the right moral thing...
@Tr3atyMareVeteran2yrs2Y
If it was the “moral” thing he would’ve quit as soon as it was time for reenlisting, not just before his team, that he was supposed to command, was set to deploy.
And when his men needed him the most ..as they headed into the Crucible that is combat …he deserted them ..left them. Why? So he could run for Congress

JD Vance is already being swift boated, and rightfully so, because no one likes the guy.
That reminds me… remember in 1988 when one campaign had a big lead after their convention and then it all slipped away by the time the summer was over?

Tim spent 24 years in the National Guard. How about you?
