It's about time the U.S. government started minding its own business and stopped meddling in the affairs of other countries, including Niger. The military withdrawal is a step in the right direction, respecting sovereignty and saving American taxpayers' money that's been poured into endless overseas operations. Let's hope this sets a precedent for reducing our military footprint globally and focusing on defending our own borders instead of policing the world. Plus, it's a clear message to other nations that they are responsible for their own security and political stability.
