Should a candidate's ability to form a 'dream team' of advisors and campaign managers affect your view of their leadership capabilities?

Seeing Kamala Harris pulling in Obama's old team for her 2024 run isn't surprising, but it sure is telling. It feels like the same old playbook, trying to recycle what worked over a decade ago instead of bringing in fresh ideas. I mean, David Plouffe? Sure, the guy knows his way around a campaign, but banking on Obama-era strategies to carry Harris to victory seems a bit out of touch with today's America. It's almost as if the Democrats are stuck in the past, hoping that the magic of Obama's campaigns can rub off on Harris. They're clearly aiming to rekindle some kind of nostalgia among voters, but I doubt it's going to resonate the same way it did back then. This move just reinforces the belief that the far left lacks innovation, always relying on the same circle of insiders and expecting different results.
