striking to compare Biden’s speech tonight — where he passed the torch to Kamala Harris and stressed that the decision is in voters’ hands— to Trump’s Jan. 6 speech, where he exhorted his followers to “never concede” and “stop the steal.”

One man is a statesman who cares about democracy and the country, the other is a malignant narcissist who should be in jail

He’s been full of **** his whole life, why stop now

(And yes, I know one could say the same about El Hombre Naranja, but in the defining moment of his life Trump stood up and screamed, FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!)

It's pretty clear he was forced out. He and Jill were put on ice for a week, while they installed Kamala and transferred the cash over to her account.

Democrats just wiped out their entire primary system to replace their candidate with roughly 3,000 party elites voting.

The will of their primary voters didn't matter at all. They staged an actual insurrection.

However much you despise these people, it isn’t enough!

We need to have Joe’s back so Kamala can continue his legacy instead of Donald dismantling it.

He betrayed democracy by letting Pelosi and other Democrats blackmail you (with the 25th Amendment) into dropping out.

The people voted for you and you let them down.

He absolutely earned a second term. I've decided to drop it until we get Kamala Harris elected. But that doesn't mean I forgot, or that I forgive. I don't.

The average age in the house and the Senate is only reflective of today's society, because the average age of the house and Senate is increasing as they continue to age and hold on to archaic ideals. Handing it off to a "new generation" is a stretch when passing the torch to individuals that were still born in the 1960s.

Although he should have passed the torch sooner, but it is a hopeful idea that the government officials older than 60 want to see representation for younger generations.

I’m crying! He was the most historically successful presidents in 50 years. He will be missed.

What a mensch to step aside for America to live freely.

President Biden engineered the best economic recovery of any nation post COVID. We are eternally grateful!

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How does the concept of 'passing the torch' to a new generation make you feel about your own future and the future of leadership in your country?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Reflecting on the call for Biden's immediate resignation, do you think leaders should step down when they acknowledge they're no longer the best person for the job?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Considering Biden's statement on democracy, how important do you think it is for leaders to step aside for the sake of national unity?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Do you believe that a leader admitting it's time for younger voices to take over shows strength or weakness, and why?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How do you feel about the idea of leadership changing hands to a newer generation, and why?
