In a defense of Israel’s conduct of the Gaza war, Netanyahu denounced what he called “anti-Israeli” protests against the Gaza war on college campuses and in cities across the U.S., accusing them of antisemitism and of receiving secret funding from Iran.
He also rejected criticism that Israel has intentionally targeted civilians in Gaza and restricted the flow of humanitarian aid.
“If there are Palestinians in Gaza who aren’t getting enough food, it’s not because Israel is blocking it, it’s because Hamas is stealing it.”
Over 39,000 Palestinians have now been killed in the war, according to Gaza health authorities, who don’t say how many were combatants.
Netanyahu also appealed to the U.S. to quickly send additional weapons, an implicit reference to the Biden administration’s decision to hold up a shipment of 2,000-pound bombs.
“Give us the tools and we will finish the job,” Netanyahu said. “Give us the tools faster and we will finish the job faster.”

Netanyahu makes fun of “Gays for Gaza,” says that is like saying “Chickens for KFC.”
“It's amazing. Absolutely amazing. Some of these protesters hold up signs proclaiming Gays for Gaza.”
“They might as well hold up signs saying, chickens for KFC.”
I heard the rooftop parties in Gaza are LIT!
Freebase jumping with a boost for all the Gays for Gaza!

He's not wrong though. The Palenstinians hang gay people. I will never understand why anybody would support somebody who wants to end their life.

Grotesque is basically Netanyahu's middle name. But he takes it to a new level draping himself with the hostage families when he's never been very focused on bringing them home. Not just my opinion. A new poll out over the weekend showed 70% of Israelis agree.

Bibi’s been spouting the “Iran will have a nuke in weeks” line for 30 years now. Eventually, he’ll be right.

If the hostages come home, the coalition government will end, and if the coalition government ends, Netanyahu is voted out and he goes to prison.
@KingdomAudreyDemocrat2yrs2Y
Kind of wild to see US Congresspeople standing up and clapping while the families of Israeli hostages present stay seated / protest with their shirts

Netanyahu's speech embodies every element of wokeness, repackaged for a diff audience. Embracing unassailable victimhood, claims of authority over nebulous assertions of indigenous heritage, casting every political dispute as good v evil, demanding deference based on ethnicity.
While a lot of earnest people who could be described as woke confusedly hold to those ideas, they generally don't ascribe to supremacist ideologies in any comparable way as many Israelis do. Trying to force this into the "woke" framework is poor analysis.

I don't hate Israel or anything, but also, under no circumstances should we give them a dime of tax payer money. We are broke, and Americans need help. Let Israel do whatever it needs to, but we should stay the hell out of it.
So damn shameful on this treasonous corrupt Congress
