During her speech, she went after Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation’s vision for a GOP presidency that Trump has attempted to distance himself from despite many of his former aides’ work on it.
The Biden campaign had also made the Project 2025 agenda a focus of its attacks on Trump before President Biden dropped out of the race Sunday.
Harris appeared to be picking up that baton, telling the crowd that agenda “will weaken the middle class, like — we know we gotta take this seriously,” she said.
“And can you believe they put that thing in writing? Read it.
It’s 900 pages,” she said, arguing that the plan would cut Social Security and Medicare, give tax breaks to the wealthy and end the Affordable Care Act.
“We’re not going back,” she added, to chants from the crowd that she joined in on.
The scenes inside and outside the venue reflected what Democrats have said is a newly energized campaign that they now see as competitive.
Ahead of the event, organizers were inundated with so many RSVP’s that they switched to a larger venue late in the day Monday, a campaign official told The Hill.

She also sucks. They all do. But our protests sometimes work against the Dems, but our protests against the GOP never succeed. I'm going to vote for and take actions that increase our probability of winning our demands, which to me means stopping another Trump term.
In other words: Progressives will always be ignored because they will vote for any Dem that’s given to them even after being completely bypassed with no primary. Thank you for being a good Dem and accept your marching orders. PS: please donate quickly.

i think the convention is a good target for protest if there aren't major changes in israel palestine policy. if we wait until after the election we have no leverage & a signficant course correction could gaurantee a win.

Project 2025 is a political playbook created by the Heritage Foundation and dozens of other conservative groups, not Trump, who said he disagrees with elements of the effort.
I think the crowd is just excited they don’t need an interpreter to understand the Democrat Presidential Candidate…
