I get why they'd want to wrap it up early, but it sure seems like virtual roll call under these circumstances is too cute by half.

Trying to push up the already pushed up date likely made things worse by showing that the Biden camp feels that he can't make it an extra 2-3 weeks without another big flub

Statement from Ohio Secretary of State's office, in response to this:

"The issue is resolved in Ohio, and Democratic proxies know that and should stop trying to scapegoat Ohio for their own party disfunction."

Yeah it needs to stay and get amplified by like 500% ASAP; that man needs to be off the ticket today.

Like it or not Biden is the president, and the incumbency bias is strong in America. This leaves Biden as the best pick to beat Trump regardless of his health. It is far too late to put up another candidate, and most Democrats care more about beating Trump than putting in a good candidate that won't win.

This election has the potential to become a train wreck for Democrats, but it's a slow-moving train wreck where there will be a lot of receipts about who's operating with integrity, courage and the country's best interest in mind.

My favorite part, DNC's defense that the legislature could reverse itself. True, but couldn't any state then arbitrarily move up their deadlines?

Considering the divide over the 'virtual roll call,' is it more important to preserve unity within a party or to adapt quickly to changing circumstances?

Should the possibility of a rule change by a state legislature influence national political party decisions, and why?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Is adapting the nomination process to accommodate external pressures, like deadline changes, beneficial or harmful to democratic values?

Do you believe the urgency to nominate a candidate should override traditional voting processes in unique situations?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How do you feel about using technology like a 'virtual rolling call' to make important political decisions?
