If you’re a Democratic politician and you’re not calling on Biden to step down then you’re willingly giving the country away to fascism!

There’s been a lot of talk about replacing Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket but surprisingly little about replacing Kamala Harris at the bottom.

But there would be a lot of upside to doing so: with a better VP, Biden suddenly becomes a more appealing candidate, given that he’s likely to be replaced by such a person, and probably sooner rather than later.

At this point, Biden loses in a landslide to an arthritic dancing bear. The party that has staked professionalism and competece as a selling point can't claim they can only find a sundowning 81 yo for the job.

Immediately after debate, question of withdrawal was real. If Biden wasn't fit, Pelosi could threaten embarrassment if delegates bolt under good consc clause. His performances since take that threat away. It was never about polls. He's got the delegates, & he's not withdrawing

Guys, GIVE IT UP! The debate about the nomination, the bedwetting, the fantasy politics game are all OVER. The President stays. The polls are not disastrous, they're doable w/hard work. And I don't really care if the President hasn't expressed enough angst about the polls for you

I remember that time in the senate where legislation was being discussed, and I thought, "Huh, I need an army ranger to figure this out."

No, not at all. Being a baseball coach, a TV host, a model, or an actor doesn't give you the ability to go out there and wing it.

Always had an inkling but it's kinda crazy to see how Trumpian he actually is, with the "I've done more for Palestinians than anyone" and "every foreign leader is always saying how I'm the most effective"

 @ShamefulM0deratePeace and Freedom from Kentucky  commented…2yrs2Y

Biden keeps going with the line that every foreign leader thinks he's the best. As if foreign leaders are going to announce to the world, let alone tell him to his face, that he's lost a few steps.

My aunt just passed away at 86 in March. I watched her decline for over 10 years. It’s slow and subtle and I learned that those around them don’t necessarily notice the decline or are in denial themselves. It’s very hard to describe.

Is the accuracy of polling data less reliable today than in the past, and does that justify a politician's skepticism towards it?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Can a politician's refusal to accept unfavorable poll results have a positive impact on their campaign by showing confidence, or is it more likely to be seen as disconnect?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Considering Biden's stance on his polling numbers, how important do you feel it is for a leader to publicly acknowledge when they are not in a favorable position?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

If Biden believes he's leading in the polls, despite evidence to the contrary, does that demonstrate optimism or denial?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Do you think politicians, like Biden, should always trust polling data to guide their decisions, or should they rely on other factors?
