Is violence ever a justified response to political disagreements, and what are the potential consequences of thinking it is?

No. It is never justifiable to use violence against a political opponent, or anyone.

I do not think political violence is an acceptable answer, but it's really hard because Trump clearly thinks it's okay. He incites it. He encourages it. He's a malignant narcissist with dictatorial aspirations, so there is a part of me, however embarrassed I am about it, that is disappointed that this man's assault on our democracy hasn't been ended.

Absolutely not, grow up. Awww you don't like what someone said??? Grow the **** up and understand that in life you're gonna come across things you don't like. It's about how you deal with them and triumph.

It's deeply concerning to see political discourse in this country sink to a level where disagreements turn into violent actions. This assassination attempt on Trump is a stark reminder of the importance of protecting free speech and political diversity, no matter where you stand on the political spectrum.
