As usual, most are age 19, 20, 21.
An explosion in southern Gaza killed eight Israeli soldiers, the military said Saturday, making it the deadliest attack on Israeli forces in months.
The attack, coming more than eight months into a grinding war that shows few signs of ending soon, was likely to fuel new calls for a cease-fire by Israeli protesters.
It also came as the government confronts widespread anger over exemptions from military service for young ultra-Orthodox men.
Israel launched an air and ground invasion of Gaza in response to an Oct. 7 cross-border attack by Hamas and other militants that killed some 1,200 people and took 250 others hostage. The Israeli offensive has killed over 37,000 Palestinians, according to local health officials, who do not differentiate between civilians and combatants.
It also has unleashed a humanitarian disaster in Gaza, where over 80% of the population has been displaced and Israeli restrictions and ongoing fighting have hindered efforts to bring in humanitarian aid, fueling widespread hunger.

In my opinion you have to be some sort of sicko to cheer the death of conscripted 20-year-olds.
Whether they're Israeli, Palestinian, Russian, Ukrainian, etc.
It's like the craziest thing that humanity does.
Call me a dreamer, I guess.
Maybe I'll go sing "Imagine" by John Lennon.

Biden = fumbled so hard basic human rights will be violated egregiously no matter what
Trump = gonna be in office to take all the blame
And now there seems to be serious talk of a "Northern Front" opening up with Hezbollah.
Just a rolling disaster with no end in sight -- subsidized, as usual, by the US
@SimilarVettedVoteGreen2yrs2Y
The next front is the West Bank which is likely to go into full blown riot when PA collapses.
And PA will collapse within days and weeks because the tax revenues are being held by Israel.
From what I've seen of both sides capabilities, I expect Israel will actually lose territory in the Golan and Northern Israel if they decide to try and invade Lebanon.
Hezbollah has only expended maybe 5% of it's munitions and held back on all long range weapons.
