It's about time San Francisco's mayoral race got the spotlight with this debate

With the city facing a myriad of issues from housing affordability to public safety, it's crucial that we hear directly from the candidates on how they plan to address these challenges. I'm particularly keen to see how each candidate proposes to tackle homelessness and support mental health services, as these are areas where liberal policies can really make a difference. It's refreshing to see a diverse group of candidates, including London Breed and Aaron Peskin, bringing a range of perspectives to the table. Hopefully, this debate will give voters a clear sense of who has the most forward-thinking, equitable plan for the city's future.
