Vladimir Putin is considering placing missiles within range of Britain and other Western allies in response to new rules allowing Ukraine to fire Nato weapons into Russia.
The Russian president said he could respond “in kind” by deploying his weapons to allies closer to Europe and the US in a threat with echoes of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
“Delivering arms to a warzone is always bad. Even more so if those who are delivering are not just delivering weapons but also controlling them. This is a very serious and very dangerous step,” Putin said in a rare interview with Western media.
“If they consider it possible to deliver such weapons to the combat zone to launch strikes on our territory and create problems for us, why don’t we have the right to supply weapons of the same type to some regions of the world where they can be used to launch strikes on sensitive facilities of the countries that do it to Russia?
“We will think about it,” he added.

Think he’s forgotten that he actually started this special military operation

All liar Putin has to do is honour the treaties he has signed, instead of cynically soaking them with the blood of a generation of Russians and Ukrainians.
How long before he experiences a fatal humiliating "accident"?
The much revered Obama failed big time as did the two Bush’s and Blair before him. As did Merkel. That lot had the chance to keep Putin in check and to temper his ambitions but they, as has often been the case in history, allowed small concessions over and over until we’ve landed in the same position with the same mistakes that countless thousands had to die to correct.
He's a bit thinned skinned for someone who likes bombing and murdering civilians.
Russia's response to Finland joining NATO was to position missiles closer to the border with Finland, which prompted Finnish General Harri Ohra-aho to comment, "Of course, it's none of my business, but operationally it seems absurd to bring missile systems with such a long range closer to our border, they make easy targets for us,"

Lets take the gloves off and arm Ukraine with whatever it needs and allow Ukraine to use all weapons wherever they can fight back against Russian violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity.
