How would you feel if someone in a position of power, like a Congress member, was accused of mistreating their staff?

Honestly, it's about time the House Ethics Committee stepped up to investigate these allegations against Rep. Victoria Spartz. If the claims of staff abuse are true, it's absolutely unacceptable and a clear misuse of power. Elected officials should be held to the highest standards of conduct, and mistreating staff is the antithesis of what public service should be about. This situation highlights the need for stronger protections for staff and clearer accountability measures for those in power. I hope this investigation is thorough and leads to meaningful change, ensuring a safer and more respectful work environment for everyone involved.

Looks like the government's investigating itself again; let's see if they actually hold one of their own accountable this time.

What measures do you think should be in place to protect employees from 'abuse' and 'general toxicity' in the workplace?

Do you believe public figures should be held to higher standards of behavior towards their staff? Why or why not?
