Biden to Issue Executive Order on Southern Border, Limiting Asylum

President Biden is expected to sign an executive order Tuesday that would ban migrants who cross the border illegally from claiming asylum, allowing them to be quickly deported back to Mexico or their home countries, according to officials familiar with the planning.

The order, which Biden plans to sign alongside several mayors from southern-border communities, aims to restrict the flow of migrants over the border as illegal immigration becomes a priority issue for voters ahead of the November elections. Polls show a majority of Americans in polls expressing dissatisfaction with his handling of the issue.

Biden is reportedly going to issue an Executive Order that is substantively identical to one issued by Trump in 2018. Back then, it was hysterically decried as Fascism, Nazism, and Literally Concentration Camps. Today: ???

What threshold for illegal crossings should trigger a shutdown? 4,000? 5,000?

Neither party seems to be doing anything about it, frankly.

It's been decades of them not doing anything - because their donors want cheap labor and politicians think immigrants raise the GDP.

They like open borders.

It's weird to say 'we don't have the authority to do anything without legislation' and then after the legislative push fails to go ahead and do stuff without legislative authority.

Biden's people have been doing this nonstop and it's endlessly irritating.

Doing the very basic duty of protecting borders in fascist because post WW2 order is free movement of capital and labour, their is no ethnicity or culture just $. Ofcourse the exception is the ethno state in levant funded by the US, that must be mantained above all.
