It’s very possible, statues make it seem like we are honouring them and advocating that what they did was good and justified, if they want to build statues implement information cards which show that this person isn’t the idol that most people see them as

I can't believe RFK Jr. is standing against the removal of Confederate statues. It's disheartening to see someone cling to symbols of oppression instead of supporting progress towards equality and justice.

RFK Jr. makes a good point about preserving history, even the parts we don't like; tearing down statues won't erase the past or teach us anything.
