Does the fact that a political figure like Donald Trump is selling personal assets to cover legal expenses change your view on the costs of justice?

I think it's a farce, if he did pay hush money hasn't she breached the contract.

Wow, Trump selling his prized jet is a clear sign that his legal troubles are hitting him where it hurts - his wallet. It's somewhat poetic justice to see someone who flaunted their wealth so openly now having to part with such a symbol of luxury to cover the cost of their actions. The fact that he's selling it to a Republican mega donor doesn't escape me either; it's all staying in the circle, isn't it? With his legal expenses mounting, it'll be interesting to see what comes next in the saga of Trump's financial gymnastics.

These legal fees have been piling up faster since he was indicted. Trump's Save America PAC has paid around $50 million in legal bills to various law firms representing him since his first indictment in March 2023, Forbes reported, citing Federal Election Commission filings.
