Increased funding would enhance the capacity and quality of shelters and services that provide support for homeless individuals. Proponents argue that it provides essential support for the homeless and helps reduce homelessness. Opponents argue that it is costly and may not address the root causes of homelessness.

Instead of homeless shelters, everyone should be able to afford a house without worries from landlords or the rich.

They should find ways to get them back on their feet not just feed them free endlessly get them a job etc that’s where I wanna see funding

I don't think that the government should take money from citizens, but I think that the government should also try and help those who seek help.
@9XYRWSM6mos6MO
Yes but make sure it's homelessness is all about trying to get better and not about money fore bad stuff
@9XYF9KH6mos6MO
I believe that there should be more money put into mental health and rehab facilities instead of just throwing money at a place for homeless to sleep where they are going to keep doing drugs and not get better or contrition to society.
@beyerm6mos6MO
Yes, but the government should attempt this over one or two years and see if it helps the cause of homelessness
@9SGWWW49mos9MO
No, we need to change the critiera. Let people with felons and records rent housing, buy housing, work, ect. get rid of the background check for that stuff and if they are employee give them the oppurtunity.
@LucidLibertarianLibertarian 12mos12MO
No, but State governments can decide how much funding is provided and under what circumstances.

I think this isn't bad and is good but I think it fails to target the key reasons for homelessness, which won't go down until the cause is targeted. In the mean time this is a positive action.
@ChivalKnightConstitution 11mos11MO
No, homeless programs only serve to incentivize homelessness.
